But you do such a good job making those characters your own!Jeannette Jonichttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16223040243180418535noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7905416493038831261.post-10902927474003371892019-10-14T21:01:30.277-05:002019-10-14T21:01:30.277-05:00Yeah, even I was surprised, but it was a needed ch...Yeah, even I was surprised, but it was a needed challenge of mine making that character in that part of Revezia. There are a couple of blink and you'll miss it references to his archetype in some of his dialogue.Curtis M.http://cmbbwrites.wordpress.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7905416493038831261.post-50558226445011184922019-10-14T12:08:28.009-05:002019-10-14T12:08:28.009-05:00Haha! Although one can argue I fulfilled his wish in an indirect way with a certain analog I wrote. :)

Sure thing. I know you're a fan of that character. That sounds about right with your opinion on his agency in that movie.Curtis M.http://cmbbwrites.wordpress.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7905416493038831261.post-30209254554542162652019-10-11T11:58:39.113-05:002019-10-11T11:58:39.113-05:00That's a good question! I imagine since the theme they were pursuing was "Find out what you truly want," the writers might have argued that what Louis really wanted wasn't really to be human--he just wanted the chance to play jazz where he'd be accepted and appreciated. He does in fact get to do just that in Tiana's restaurant, where we get to see him playing with a human band. He may not be human, but he still gets his deepest desire in the end.

I didn't think there was much that needed to be changed about Louis, which is why he didn't feature much in my rewrite. He's such a sweetheart. I think the only thing I may have changed was giving him a more prominent role in the final clash with Facilier. But since I'm no fight choreographer, I figured I'd leave the details to more talented writers!Jeannette Jonichttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16223040243180418535noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7905416493038831261.post-62304068925292997762019-10-11T09:10:36.304-05:002019-10-11T09:10:36.304-05:00That was an interesting alternate take of the stor...That was an interesting alternate take of the story. One thing I kind of wondered was Louis not getting his wish. Sure, he still gets to play the trumpet, but how come he didn't get to be human?Curtis M.http://cmbbwrites.wordpress.comnoreply@blogger.com
