I believe it's more of a mystery. Say what you will about other anime horror like Perfect Blue despite some of the harsh content, but it at least scares people in the right way and never resorts to slasher movie cliches.Curtis M.http://cmbbwrites.wordpress.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7905416493038831261.post-61765293107023603972018-03-05T14:42:11.619-06:002018-03-05T14:42:11.619-06:00Ick! The big difference is the narrative. A kinetic novel has one linear story while visual novels have multiple possible endings and storylines regardless if they're "canon" or not.

That doesn't surprise me. I saw one clip of the anime and was freaked out seeing a character's severed head talking on a food platter which was too much for me.Curtis M.http://cmbbwrites.wordpress.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7905416493038831261.post-23588920331885053282018-02-26T13:11:35.865-06:002018-02-26T13:11:35.865-06:00What's the difference between a kinetic and a ...What's the difference between a kinetic and a visual novel? I'm still very new to this genre. Umineko actually came on recommendation from a friend of mine. It's pretty freaky at the point I've stopped though!
